Course of the Operation
After the successful Operation Sana '95, the 5th Corps planned to continue the offensive toward Prijedor and Banja Luka. The weapons captured in Sana enabled the equipping of additional units. However, under international pressure, the offensive was stopped. The Dayton Peace Agreement, signed on 21 November 1995, ended the war. The 5th Corps was stopped about 20 kilometers from Banja Luka - the city that was the corps' strategic objective.
