Biography

Hamdija Abdić 'Tigar' was commander of the 502nd Knightly Mountain Brigade. He played a key role in Operation Tiger '94 — with the approval of commander Dudaković, he pretended to defect to Fikret Abdić and lured him into a trap, leading to the liberation of Velika Kladuša and the temporary fall of AP Western Bosnia. His 'Tigers' battalion was the strike force of the brigade and became a symbol of the 5th Corps.
