Course of the Operation

Operation Sana '95 was the largest offensive of the Army of RBiH in the war. The 5th Corps, divided into three operational groups (South, Center, North), launched the attack on 13 September 1995. OG South covered 70 km in 4 days and liberated Bosanski Petrovac (15 September) and Ključ (16 September). OG North liberated Bosanska Krupa (17 September) and Otoka. After regrouping, the corps continued its advance and liberated Sanski Most on 10 October. The 5th Corps thus linked up with the 7th Corps, establishing continuity of free BiH territory. Enormous war booty was captured: M-84 and T-55 tanks, artillery, huge quantities of ammunition.
