About the City
Bosanski Petrovac was liberated on 13 September 1995 as part of Operation Sana '95. After more than three years of occupation, the 502nd Knightly Mountain Brigade under the command of Ramiz Dreković broke through enemy lines and entered the city. This was the first city liberated in this historic offensive of the 5th Corps, paving the way for further advances toward Ključ, Sanski Most, and Bosanska Krupa.
