About the City
Sanski Most was liberated on 10 October 1995, a month after the fall of Ključ and Bosanski Petrovac. The city was a key enemy stronghold in the Sana valley. The liberation of Sanski Most was of great military and moral significance — it connected the territories of the 5th Corps with free Bosnia and enabled further advances toward Prijedor.
