Biography
Born on 4 January 1956 in Arapuša, Bosanska Krupa. He graduated from the Military Gymnasium in Mostar and the Military-Technical Aviation Academy in Sarajevo in 1977. He joined the ARBiH in early 1992. After the death of commander Mirsad Crnkić, he took command of the 511th Brigade on his own initiative. Under his leadership, the brigade liberated Bosanska Krupa on 17 September 1995 after 1,244 days of war. He was awarded the Golden Lily in 1996 and the Order of Military Merit with Silver Swords in 1998. He died on 11 July 2004.
