Biography
Born on 4 October 1965 in Bužim. He graduated from the Military Academy in Zagreb in 1987. He left the JNA in early 1992 and formed the 105th Bužim Strike Brigade, later renamed the 505th Brigade. Izetbegović declared him commander of the most elite brigade during the war. Under his leadership the brigade liberated about 300 km² of territory. He was awarded the Golden Lily in 1994. He was killed on 5 August 1995 at Ćorkovača during Operation Storm. He was posthumously promoted to Brigadier General and awarded the Order of Hero of the Liberation War in 1998.
