Event Details
Atif Dudaković was appointed commander of the 5th Corps on 1 November 1993, succeeding Ramiz Dreković who took command of the 4th Corps. Dudaković had previously commanded the 502nd Brigade and proven himself an exceptional military strategist. His assumption of command marked a turning point for the 5th Corps — under his leadership the corps transitioned from defense to offense and carried out some of the most successful operations of the ARBiH in the war.
